In 2016/17, the Western Red Cedar Lumber Association (WRCLA) and the Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau (CSSB) delivered comprehensive marketing campaigns focused on maintaining and growing western red cedar’s share of the U.S. market. The WRCLA’s campaign leveraged social media including Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook. In addition, the WRCLA YouTube channel featured guides and “how to” videos as well as television ads highlighting the many benefi ts of building with cedar.
