Forestry Innovation Investment (FII) delivers the Product Development & Technical Research Program as part of its Market Development suite of programs.
Recognizing that B.C.'s forest industry and economy is comprised of two distinct geographical sectors - a Coast forest sector and an Interior forest sector - each with unique issues and opportunities, FII's Product Development & Technical Research Program focuses on initiatives that benefit industry stakeholders in each of these two key sectors. As both primary and a secondary manufacturing sector exist in the province, technical investments will be designed to support a balance between both sectors.
