FII works in partnership with the Government of Canada, research institutes and the forest industry to develop a robust and globally competitive forest industry. Most of these activities are delivered through investments in specific projects delivered by trade associations and research universities.

FII does not provide business loans, small business grants, or subsidies.

Investments are designed to provide general benefits to the forest sector and the BC economy.

Groups interested in applying for funding should carefully review the eligibility guidelines (see Funding Guidelines) before applying.
